Carton King

Do you have a place near your neighborhood that you pass by wondering what could be going on inside? Our "place" is one that we drive by almost anytime we head towards town. During the week, it's barely a blip on the radar screen as we pay more attention to kamikaze scooters but on the weekend the area teems with parked cars. We wondered and wondered as weekends passed and we watched hordes of people cross a small bridge towards what appeared to be a bee museum. Recently the Compass Magazine, a local English monthly, published an article about the Carton King. Hey! This is the place we pass each day. Well, over the weekend we decided to check it out.

The stroll through the zoo led us to an outside area with a few popular replicas...

And, to wrap up the visit, there actually was a small bee museum though it mostly posed as a gift shop. A few bees busily buzzed...
